Jonathane Michael Ricci is a manager, consultant and entrepreneur. In 1999, He commenced her professional career at KPMG (Toronto) within the U.S. Corporate Tax Group. In 2003, He went on to co-found Juroviesky and Ricci LLP, a cross border law firm. In 2009, Jonathane Michael founded The Law Office of Jonathane Ricci, which operated as Xafira Law Professional Corporation until June 2016.
A lawyer by background, Jonathane Ricci has worked with KPMG, an international accounting and tax management firm, and has worked as a lawyer in his own firms and businesses, and is currently licensed and in good standing in New York and Michigan.

Jonathane Ricci has an amazing educational background. Jonathane attended the University of Windsor for programs in History, Political Science and Information Technology. At the University of Windsor, he was elected Student Counsel President by his peers. He later attended Detroit College of Law, now Michigan State University College of Law, where he focussed his law degree on learning about taxation and how the basic principles of taxation can help individuals and businesses lower the amount of taxation dollars they spend. After receiving his law degree from Michigan State, Mr. Ricci attended Georgetown University Law Centre in Washington D.C., where he furthered his studies and learning about taxation, and more specifically, and international taxation.
Mr. Ricci’s thesis at Georgetown focussed on the provision of services internationally, in a cross border context, answering questions like what country gets to tax a physician’s services provided in one country via real time video, when the patient benefitting from such services is physically located in a different country. It was in writing this thesis paper that Mr. Ricci formed some innovative views about how money for services flow across borders and the different methods that can be used to optimize taxation within source country, destination country and among tax treaties. Another focus for Mr. Ricci throughout all his education was the concept of asset protection. That being, protecting the value of an asset from attack from lawsuits, creditors, taxing authorities, etc. Mr. Ricci learned about trusts and the unique use of them to protect an asset from unwanted intrusions on its value. When you put these two concepts together: Asset Protection and Tax Optimization, Mr. Ricci can truly provide management services to his clients around their wealth in a way that is different from other service providers in the market.
